- Shirley: "Dr. Grove is very happy with how his feet look; there is much improvement," regarding her horse, Mick, who suffers from pedal ostitis. He had been lame for several months; previous farrier did not show up for an appointment and Shirley was given my name. I trimmed and shod Mick's hooves. Within a couple days, he was able to walk and jog short periods.
- Carrie: "Hey, Joe! Thank you so much for all your work on Mick! I was able to climb up on him bareback the other night and do a lot of walking and a little trotting. He is not 100%-I think his tendon is still healing, but he is exponentially better!" (regarding the same horse)
- Amanda: "Secret is doing good; he hasn't lain down since you trimmed his hooves," regarding a mule whose hooves were so overgrown that he was lame and lying down, not walking at all.
- Trish: "I trotted Lizzie around very briefly tonight and she is balanced, sound, and very happy! Thanks!" Lizzie's angles were incorrect with improper sized glue-on shoes and she was on stall rest after being lame for 2 months. I corrected her angle and shoe size.
- Ginger (Lizzie's Trainer): "Hey Joe! Just want to let you know that Lizzie is sound for the first time in a month!" (regarding the same horse)
- Sabrena: "You did an awesome job and Elf is doing much better!" Elf has Cushings Disease and Laminitis. His vet and I worked closely. I gave him wedged shoes to work toward leveling out his angles.
